She holds a PhD in Fine Arts in practice-led research, in which she developed the concept of the protocontemporary –a framework that identifies a new kind of ruin and the fragment within contemporary Western artistic practices.
Her work develops through photography, print, and material processes, and is guided by an interest in how images are encountered, handled, and lived with over time. Her projects often take shape through minimal gestures that invite closeness, asking the viewer to remain with what is easily overlooked – visibility and its regimes. Questions of presence, fragility, erasure, and distribution inform her practice. Methodollogicaly, her work unfolds through repetition, accumulation, and constraint, allowing meaning to emerge through use, sequencing, and material presence.
Alongside her work, she develops artist-led formats for circulation and encounter, treating editions, galleries, shops, and exhibition structures as extensions of the work itself.
